This 2-day sharing trek is the fastest way to reach the summit of Mount Rinjani. Designed for fit and experienced hikers, you will join a group of like-minded adventurers to tackle the steep trails of Sembalun.

Your adventure begins with a 7:00 AM wake-up call and a hearty breakfast to fuel up for the day. Following a quick registration at the Rinjani Information Center, we officially commence the trek at 8:00 AM from Sembalun Village.
The journey starts with a gentle, scenic hike through open meadows and rolling savannas. After roughly two hours of walking, we will arrive at Pos 1 (1,300m), followed by a short 40-minute trek to Pos 2 (1,500m). We then proceed to Pos 3 (1,800m), where our team will prepare a freshly cooked, satisfying lunch. Re-energized, we tackle the most demanding section of the day: a prolonged, steep three-hour ascent to the Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639m). Upon arrival, our crew will have your campsite ready.
Relax, enjoy a hot drink, and take in the magnificent sunset views over the crater before settling in for the night.
An early alpine start! We wake you at 2:00 AM under the cover of darkness with hot beverages and a light pre-trek breakfast.
At 3:00 AM, the thrilling summit attack begins. The trail starts with a moderate incline, transitioning into a longer, relatively steady path, before reaching the final and most challenging phase: a steep climb over loose volcanic scree. Your perseverance will be completely rewarded at 6:00 AM as you reach the summit (3,726m) just in time for a spectacular sunrise. Take time to capture photos and marvel at the panoramic views of Lombok, Bali, Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake below. Afterward, we will carefully descend for two hours back to the Crater Rim camp for a well-deserved, heavy breakfast. Once packed, we begin our five-hour descent back through the savannas to Sembalun Village.
Upon arrival, our private transport will be waiting to drop you off at your next destination in Lombok.
